About me

I’m a biomedical engineer from Ghent, Belgium, who fell in love with building software along the way. I studied at Ghent University, graduating Magna Cum Laude with an MSc in Biomedical Engineering, with a semester abroad at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Combining a strong foundation in physics, math, and human biology with a growing passion for code led me toward increasingly technical, AI-driven projects, and eventually to founding CovaCtrl.

My master’s thesis, completed with Ghent University’s MEDISIP research group under Prof. Stefaan Vandenberghe, explored deep learning-based image correction for a novel CT-less PET scanner. More on that here.
